I came here during weekend brunch.
Food I've tried:
- WAFFLE AND FRIED CHICKEN ($14): portion size is certainly large. A standard size waffle comes topped with 2 very large pieces of fried chicken. Waffle flavor was pretty standard, and crispy. The chicken was ok. It was a bit salty for me, and the meat was on the drier side. Overall I felt that even with maple syrup on top, the saltiness of the chicken overwhelmed me from enjoying the rest of the dish. Chicken to waffle ratio wise, I definitely had an entire fried chicken remaining when I finished my waffle.
- I was excited to try the DUCK CONFIT WITH HASH, but unfortunately it was not available.
Atmosphere:
- Classic local diner vibes. There are a decent number of seats, but with COVID I noticed they spaced things out more.
- It can get busy especially during weekend brunch hours.
Service:
- Service was quick, we got our food promptly.
Overall:
- I didn't personally see all the hype about the flavors here, but I only did try one dish. Portion wise I definitely had food coma afterwards. Price is pretty standard for local diner food.
