A very aesthetic dessert location I was excited to try.
Food I've tried:
- I was looking forward to trying the matcha soft serve, unfortunately it was not in rotation when I visited.
- UBE & BLACK SESAME SWIRL ($6.50): the soft serve is very creamy, and not overly sweet. The ube is more subtle than the black sesame, which definitely shines through. It was a good soft serve, definitely better than average but the flavors were not as intense as other 5 star soft serve places I have tried.
- MATCHA LATTE ($5.50 + $0.50 oat milk): very pretty, as the drink comes in beautifully colored layers. It was a good drink, though the matcha flavor was more muted than I would have liked. Especially because their website states they use ceremonial matcha, I was expecting a stronger flavor.
Atmosphere:
- Very small store with take out only. The store decor is very cute, excellent for taking instagram worthy pictures.
Service:
- The staff were friendly, they were efficient in making our food/drinks.
Overall:
- PRO: a good option in Quincy, makes for great pictures.
- CON: for the price, I would want more intensity of flavors.
