I decided to stop by as I was looking to satisfy a sweet craving. Full transparency, I am not the biggest fan of soft serve ice cream, but I am occasionally blown away by some incredible soft serve places so I decided to visit.
Food I've tried:
- MATCHA ($8): For an easier eating experience I recommend getting the ice cream in a cup with the taiyaki on top. Not as instagrammable, but I don't have to worry about it melting in my hands. Flavor wise, I thought it was a pretty standard ice cream/taiyaki combination. It was not too sweet, and I did like the different textures of the soft serve, taiyaki, marshmallow, and graham cracker. The matcha flavor was there, but I wished that it was stronger.
Atmosphere:
- Pretty small store with very limited seating mostly for people that are waiting. It is more of a takeout place rather than a sit and eat place.
- There are cute signs for you to take aesthetic pictures with.
Service:
- The line was long, but I got my taiyaki pretty quickly.
Overall:
- Is it worth $8? I would say not really. Portion is for one person, but I guess you can share though it is a bit difficult given the structural fragility. It was ok/good flavor wise, not my favorite that I've tried. It makes for good pictures though.
